Charles Augustus Random, self-styled Baron of Berenguer and Baron of Beaufain, also Charles known as Charles Augustus or Charles Auguste. He founded the Stadium in London for gymnastics, which later became Cremorne Gardens after his death in 1845. He joined the Venerable Order of Saint John of Jerusalem in 1834, and allowed the Venerable Order to use his Stadium facilities to hold their meetings and council.
