Engraving depicting a half-length portrait of Etienne de Blegny, 17th century French calligrapher and legal expert on handwriting. De Blegny's portrait is set into an oval on a pedestal with four lines of French verse on the fine art of writing. Associated with an artist known only as de Voligny.
