Description |
Lithograph depicting the thirteenth century windows of the Metropolitan Church at Touraine. The first illustration shows a window from the apsidal chapel of the Virgin. The lancet window contains four rondels, each composed of a central image depicting Christ's Passion, surrounded by further images of the Passion. The second illustration is a detail of the Genesis window in the choir, with two vignettes depicting a birth and the first two days of creation. From: Jean Jacques Bourassé.
