Description |
Metalcut side borders from a leaf from the Book of Hours, likely that published by Simon Vostre in April 1500. On the verso, four images appear (the pope and cardinals kneeling, rulers kneeling, bishops and monastics kneeling, and noblemen kneeling). On the recto, a single image depicts a pastoral composition with a sleeping shepherd, a dog carrying a lamb, and a woman placing a garland on shepherd's head. |
